Each of the glossaries provided is a great tool for finding good places for funding.
Where to Find Them
The Government of Canada offers several scholarships and bursaries, but mostly for postdoctoral, master's, and doctorates in health, business, natural sciences, and technology.
However, they also offer funds for students who want to study internationally, who are international students, who are in or have family in the military or those who are Aboriginal.
Scholarship Canada is above and beyond your scholarship glossary. By signing up and outlining what type of studying you want to do, they will pair you up with as many scholarships as possible.
You will have a personalized dashboard telling you which scholarships are available to you, their deadlines, and how much they offer. It is a one-stop shop.

In response to the increased need for bursaries and scholarships as a result of Covid-19, Wize has come together with its partners to launch Wize scholarships.

Study in Canada is a straightforward search engine for scholarships and bursaries. But what makes it unique and a good find is that it also offers a job search function. The point of the search function is that any time during your schooling it offers you a way to find a job.
Whether that’s a job after graduation, or a part-time job while you go to school. It’s helping in all areas of money matters.
Check With Your School
A lot of the time your school will offer bursaries, grants, or scholarships just for keeping a specific GPA or meeting certain class requirements. So do your research and see if you can apply for any school and degree-specific scholarships that may not appear on search engines.
How to Apply
Most scholarships and bursaries require some form of application. Sometimes this is a letter stating your intent and proving yourself the best choice. Other times this can be a thesis paper proving that your research is worth the funding.
Each scholarship or bursary is different and will need to be treated as such. Do not copy and paste for funding, the chances of it working are very slim.
It never hurts to apply for a scholarship or bursary, so try. The worst that can happen is that you don’t get it, the best is that your school fees become lighter. It’s worth putting in the time. Before you get there, make sure to check out resources on ways to save money in university and make sure to take advantage of student discounts.
