Hi I was wondering if this course is the grade 11 functions and relations MCR3U1?
J
Jarrett N
InstructorHi!
Yes, it covers all of the curriculum for MCR 3U. There may be additional topics that go beyond the scope of MCR 3U, so be sure to only look at the content that your teacher is asking of you :).

How do you simplify radicals
J
Jarrett N
InstructorHi! So the key to simplifying radicals is to find the largest perfect square and then use the property of radicals to simplify radicals. Examples of perfect squares are 1, 4, 9, 16, 25, ... etc.
Let's consider for example. We know that 16x5=80. So, we can rewrite . We know that and thus
If you find any specific questions related to radicals that you are stuck on, please let me know! :)
