About Jade H
I completed my Bachelor of Health Sciences with a minor in Mathematics at Queen’s University, and I am currently a second-year medical student at the University of Toronto.
Over the past six years, I have worked one-on-one with more than 50 students in Biology, Chemistry, and Calculus at both the high school and undergraduate level. During my time at Queen’s, I served as a teaching assistant for first-year Linear Algebra, where I ran drop-in sessions at the Math Help Centre, led exam review tutorials, and graded assignments. These experiences have helped me develop a teaching style that focuses on breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps—the way I wish I had been taught as a student myself.
Beyond academics, I enjoy travelling, reading, and volunteering. I also a firm believer that education goes far beyond solving difficult problems, it’s about mentorship, growth, and building confidence. My goal is not only to help you succeed in your courses, but also to support you in reaching your full potential as a learner.
