About Miguel C
Hello! My name is Miguel Cadiz, and I’m excited to help you reach your academic goals. I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor’s in Microbiology. I’m currently an MD applicant, pursuing a Special Master’s Program, and I previously worked as an emergency department scribe for two years. Outside of work, I critique and make films, as well as play the piano (very amateurly).
My philosophy is simple: higher education should be as accessible as possible, and STEM as a field is no exception. I specialize in Biology and Biochemistry, taking from my own goals to be a physician and my major in undergrad. I was a private tutor for a year before joining Wizeprep, creating customized study schedules and drawing out my own diagrams to digest complicated subjects. My approach isn’t based on rote memorization—I focus on helping students truly understand pathways, mechanisms, and theories, making even the lower-yield topics intuitive and memorable. Additionally, I believe my teaching style works in any setting, so whether it be for the MCAT or your undergraduate courses, I hope to help you as best I can!
