Roots in Physiology & Psychophysics

Physiologists study bodily functioning through the perspective of biology.

Psychology asks some of the same questions as physiologists (Example: how does our body respond to stress?) but also a much broader set of questions about how the mind works and what drives our behaviour.

Psychologists and physiologists both use the scientific method to study behaviour.
