What is Consciousness? The Problem of Other Minds

Consciousness - the ability to generate a series of conscious experiences, as well as the quality of current experience and awareness of our internal state and external environment.
Problem of Other Minds - we do not have an objective way to access the content of someone else's consciousness. We can use subjective measures like self-report, or measure correlates of consciousness with behavioural and neuropsychological measures, but we can't measure consciousness itself.
