How to Know you're a Rez Legend
Residence legends are those people that most of the students who live on campus know about and want to get to know.
By being a legend on campus you are top of the food chain for parties and get-togethers. But how do you know if you’re a rez legend? There really isn’t a guide. But, here are a few hints to figure out if you’re a rez legend.
You’re Invited to Everything
Everyone wants the people at the top of the social ladder to be at their parties and events. So if you find yourself with new invitations to hang out or go to events constantly, then that’s a good sign you’re a rez legend.
More so than that, are you being invited to more than just parties? Do you get invited to group get-togethers or club meetings? It certainly is a good indication of your popularity level.
Everyone In Your Dorm Knows You By Name
You are the center of the party, everyone wants to party with you because you’re probably having a lot of fun. In the same vein, for other types of get-togethers, you’re more likely than not the social butterfly and able to connect with people who would have never talked before.
You know a lot of people and a lot of people know you. If you tend to run into people who know you or who you know wherever you go on campus you just might be, or are on your way to being, a Rez legend.
Everyone In The Other Dorms Knows You By Name
Not only do your own dormmates know you, but the whole campus is at least acquainted with you. Are you able to be recognized by a good chunk of the Rez living population? Even if they can’t recognize you, do a large percentage know of you?
Are you “That Adam guy from Massey Hall?” recognizable? Then it’s a rather cut and dry case of being a rez legend.
The Floor Dons Know You
It’s one thing for the other students in rez to know about you, but when the Floor Dons know about you, it means something. That something isn’t always good, but it does mean that you are enough of a legend one way or the other for those who run the dorms to know who you are.
You’ve Pulled A Stunt That People Are Still Talking About
So you pulled a prank or a stunt that people are still talking about months later. Congrats. Automatic rez legend status.
Depending on the lasting impact of your prank, your legend may live on for years to come. Actions always speak louder than words, so people may have known about you before, but with your actions, you are officially going to be remembered as a Rez legend.
