Queen's Best Eats
1. Canadian Grilling Company (CGC)
This is easily the best quality food available on campus. Their beef and chicken burgers are both top-notch - yet they are equally as famous for their large, delicious and aesthetically pleasing salads. Oh, and did I mention they accept TAMs? The only danger with this place is that you will end up there every day.
2. Botterell Hall “Big Breakfast” (Market Street Cafe)
Have you heard of Botterell Hall? Neither have many Queen’s students, which is too bad since their “Market Street Cafe” serves “Big Breakfasts” for a TAM. For all you breakfast lovers, it includes 2 eggs, bacon, sausages, hash browns, toast and either a coffee or juice for a TAM. I can’t promise 10/10 quality, but it is perhaps the best bang-for-your-buck on campus.
3. Booster Juice
Booster Juice isn’t unique or interesting, but it does provide something all university students need: good ol' vitamins and minerals. If you’re ever feeling unhealthy, or if you just want some fruity deliciousness, Booster Juice will hit the spot.
4. Quiznos
Yes, I know it is hard to believe, but there is a Quiznos on Queen’s campus. I went there for the first time in my 3rd year and - full disclosure - I think it might be better than Subway (I can feel the cringe faces). Try it out and let us know what you think!
5. Lazy Scholar/Location 21
These are definitely the two best known food spots on campus, especially for first years. I just needed to make sure that everybody was aware of the 4-piece chicken strips and curly fries, because that is one legendary meal. But don’t fret, if you get tired of the grease, you can throw a healthy sub or some fruit/salad into the mix to balance your diet. It’s hard to find easy and tasty food at a more convenient location than these two spots.

Wooden Heads
I have yet to meet a person who didn’t like a Wooden Heads Gourmet Pizza. You simply can’t go wrong here. Pro tip: great spot for a date ;)
Grecos
If you like Greek food, Grecos won't disappoint. Their 2-piece Souvlaki meal will come out to about 20$ even after tax and delivery but will fill the average person for about 2 meals. Well worth checking out.
Pan Chancho
Kingston’s famous bakery/brunch spot. All things bakery-related are exquisite and brunch is absolutely delicious. If you’re going to be downtown, hitting up Pan Chancho’s is always a good idea.
Stone City Ales
This one is for the 19+ audience, but I simply couldn’t leave out Stone City. Grab a beer-tasting flight and some food and you will leave a very happy camper.
