U of T Best Eats

1. Sunso Est West Cafe

This place has the best bang-for-your-buck in the entire UofT area. It’s $6 for a large salad, which is actually an entire take-out box stuffed full of as much salad/pasta as you can fit.

If you want to toss a big ol’ sandwich in the mix it’s only a $2 increase ($8 total) for both the sandwich and a massive salad. Their selection is totally random, but if you are looking for 2 meals for the price of one, this spot is a must-try.

2. Innis Cafe

Conveniently located right on campus, Innis Cafe serves up freshly made smoothies and juices, baked goods, soups, salads, snacks and full meals.

You can either grab food on the run or stay for a while - my recommendation is the rooftop patio during the warmer months. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to energize yourself at this spot - oh yeah, and there is a 5% discount when using TBucks at this location.

3. The Clubhouse Sandwich Shop

If you’re a sandwich person, this is an absolute can’t-miss place. Their selection is unique and covers all the bases - I’m talking everything from fried calamari to Vietnamese pork to basil marinated fried tomato. To top it off, some say they have the best fries in all of Toronto. Don’t miss out.

4. Mother’s Dumplings

This small family-run shop has plenty of tasty options for student prices - think green onion pancakes, boiled or fried dumplings, steamed buns, and garlic fried bok choi as a start point. Go with some friends and try a variety of things to get the most out of your experience. Let us know what your favs are!

5. Not Just Greens

This is your token I-really-need-some-health-food-now place on campus. Not Just Green’s has a large salad bar with tons of variety and fresh ingredients. You can construct the salad you would like and leave feeling like you are fueled up on the perfect grub to get your day going right.

Location: MSB Cafeteria
